IRONFIX

Epoxy adhesive for the union of concrete and metals

Epoxi adhesive of three components exempt of dissolvents, for working works between metals , concrete and mortars. Especially recommended for the union of high resistance vertical and horizontal faces so much as exteriors and interiors.

Uses

Union of metallic structure pieces of concrete, for the reinforcement of the structure, anchor filling that requires high mechanical requests, union of metallic pieces between them in places where its impossible to weld as a regularised and adhesive coat

Surface preparation

In surfaces of vertical concrete or mortar, its recommendable to shot blasted or drill the surfaces, for vertical faces avoid the rest of white lime and weak and bad adherence of particles by mechanical means.
The metallic surfaces must be clean, free of grease, oils, oxide and possible rests of calamine. The rests of dust and other contaminants must be previously eliminated.

Instructions for use

Mixed first the two components, next add the component C till obtaining the desirable consistence, in surfaces very rough its recommendable to apply a coat as a prime mixing only the components A+B and then apply with a paint roller or brush, next extend the mixer of the components with the desirable thickness.

Consumption

Mixed A+B without loads: 4-6m2 per kilo.
